A very young 1911 side grabbed a point at home to Woodnesborough Reserves on Saturday. On both occasions the visitors goals were quickly cancelled out by Minster and we looked a good bet to get the winner before the final whistle. Jack Wain weaved some magic on the edge of the box and curled into the top corner just before half time. Michael Onyeama was put through with a neat pass by Cem Kalfa and he slammed his top corner as well. Andy Long might have pushed the average age upwards on the day but was in MOTM contention with some excellent saves.
