First Half
Minster struggled to find rhythm in the opening period, with misplaced short passes repeatedly handing possession to Cuxton. The visitors exploited this by playing balls in behind the back line, forcing goalkeeper Magnus Lewis into several interventions. On 34 minutes, Cuxton were awarded a penalty after Lewis arrived late to a through ball and collided with the forward. The spot-kick was confidently dispatched, giving Cuxton a deserved 1–0 half-time lead.
Second Half
Three half-time substitutions injected fresh energy and instantly lifted Minster’s tempo. The improvement was rewarded when Tristan Jevons, who had won a free-kick after chasing down a loose pass, curled a stunning effort into the far corner from the left side of the penalty area to make it 1–1.
Soon after, penalty appeals were waved away when Lewis Ray beat the visiting goalkeeper to the ball but was only awarded a corner. On the hour, Ray was again fouled inside the box. Jevons’ penalty was saved, but Ray reacted fastest to square the rebound for Ollie Harris to slot home—his fourth goal in five matches—turning the game in Minster’s favour.
Just three minutes later, the lead was extended. Josh Neaves delivered a pinpoint corner which John Argyrides powered home with his head to make it 3–1.
On 78 minutes, Harris struck again to seal the points. After tireless pressing from Tim McArthur forced a turnover, Harris pounced on the loose ball, drove into the area, and calmly finished for his second of the game and fifth in as many fixtures.
